pour cela un coup d’œil sur la rivalité germano-française au sujet du maroc s’impose Au début du XXe siècle, l’affrontement entre la France et l’Allemagne à propos du Maroc conduit à une multiplication des incidents diplomatiques. Au mois de novembre 1904, la France accorde un prêt énorme au sultan, ce qui équivaut à une mise sous tutelle de ses finances. En 1905, Guillaume II effectue une visite au Maroc et y affirme son indépendance. Ce «coup de Tanger» entraîne une poussée de germanophobie en France.

Il débouche aussi sur la réunion l’année suivante, du 16 janvier au 7 avril 1906, d’une conférence internationale à Algésiras, au sud de l’Espagne. Elle confirme l’indépendance du Maroc, indépendance qui ressemble plutôt à une mise sous tutelle internationale.

Mais elle établit aussi implicitement des «droits» particuliers de la France sur l’empire chérifien: la France et l’Espagne se voient confier la police des ports marocains et un Français est chargé de présider la Banque d’état du Maroc. Par approches successives, la France va finir par imposer son protectorat au sultan. En avril 1911, une armée occupe les villes impériales de Rabat, sur la côte atlantique, Fès et Meknès.

L’Allemagne y voit une violation des accords signés à Algésiras cinq ans plus tôt. Elle envoie la canonnière « Panther » vers Agadir sous le prétexte de protéger les entreprises de la région et plus sérieusement pour marquer son territoire et signifier à la France qu’elle n’a pas tous les droits au Maroc. Les gouvernements français et britannique en sont informés le 1er juillet 1911. La tension est alors à son comble et un conflit semble éminent.

Finalement, l’affaire se résout grâce à la politique d’apaisement du président du Conseil français, Joseph Caillaux. On aboutit ainsi à un traité franco-allemand le 4 novembre 1911, avec un échange de territoires en Afrique équatoriale, entre le Cameroun, colonie allemande, et le Congo, colonie française. L’Allemagne concède par ailleurs à la France une entière liberté d’action au Maroc.

I have met the most hardcore Zionists in my life, and many of them did not speak english. On the other hand many of them spoke arabic and french as their first language!!!Does it lead us to say that french and arabic is the language of Zionist?That would be stupid as well…
